This is the video to the song I have chosen. I have chosen this song because I like the pace of the music and I think this will enable me to get some excellent editing in there. I also think that the way the lyrics are set up means that I can film the video with my partner and I can also star in it. I think this will work very effectively as I can star when the lyrics being about a soldier are being sung. And then when I am not required on screen, I can film.

Gaining Permission for Music Video
For my music video, I have decided to use Samantha Jade's song "Soldier". To contact the artist, I had to Google "Samantha Jade" and load up her official website. I then had to search for ways to contact her and at the bottom of the page, I noticed that she has a Facebook page. As I have a Facebook account I decided to write a post on her wall in order to ask for her permission to use her song.
